I've had a plethera of baby showers to attend recently. So, I needed fast, blankets for gifts. These blankets consits of 2 pieces of flannel, 1 yard each. With right sides together, I sewed around the edges (similar to a pillowcase) leaving just a small space open to then turn the blanket right side out. After pressing the edges, I hand sewed the opening shut. Then, I sewed around the entire blanket to finshed off the edge. Very fast project. Each blanket only took 30min!

Basic Flannel Baby Blanket

Easy Baby Blanket
I needed a gift for a baby girl, so I sewed a baby blanket. I love how it turned out. Simple but super cute. Again, I got the idea online. Here are her instructions:
